I’m heading off to the beach and looking forward to diving into these books. I usually take around 5-6 books with me so I will probably have to make a trip to the bookstore or Target while I am gone. Here are Amazon links for these if you are interested… Have you read any of these?

I am also taking along these Scholastic News – stay tuned! I’ll be partnering up with Scholastic to share a pretty awesome cash giveaway starting June 1st. All it takes to enter is a Scholastic magazine, a vacation selfie and a hashtag!

Have you seen these Aim High products from Carson Dellosa?

I might be slightly in love and I am not even sure how I am going to put them to use next school year- but they are precious!! I have been out of school less than one week and my mind is all ready spinning for next year!! Does it ever end?? HA!

I’ve added these super simple one word folded notes to my Doodle Bugs Paper website. I had some end of the year thank you notes to write and these were a perfect fit. They also come with lavender envelopes with just a little pop of color.

summer

This is the last Five for Friday for the summer. Feel free to still post during the summer using the FFF graphic- I just won’t post a link up here on my blog.

I did throw out last week that I am considering ending the FFF link up after this summer. I’ll be doing some thinking on that over the next few months and keeping you informed!

Happy, Happy Summer friends!

  1. Oh, Kacey, I am sad this is the last Five for Friday for summer, and I'm SO sad it might be the END of this "classic" linky... say it isn't sooooo. I post to it a lot and come to read the latest even when I don't link-up. I'm having a harder time finding linkys now. It seems there used to be more. I was especially thankful for link-ups when I first started blogging– they are a great way to find blogs. I do realize the work in running them week after week, and I hope you know I SO appreciate you posting your treasure all these years. I really hope you'll consider keeping it up. I also hope you'll consider joining the book talk linky I'm going to do just for the summer. Teachers love books- sharing good ones and finding new ones. I, for one, read more blogs in the summer and post more too, simply because I have more time. I also want to stay connected to other teachers and hope this will help. I will keep an eye out and fingers crossed for your fall decision. Thank you so much!! Kathleen

  2. Have a great time at the beach! I love Five for Friday! I am sad that people don't blog as much. I'm sure it's a lot of work to set this up each week. I'd love to help you keep it if you're interested in collaborating! Maybe splitting up the weeks so it's not every single week? LMK! meganwheeler44@Yahoo.com
